Duties

• Manage a full caseload of family law matters from inception through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and Memoranda of Points and Authorities

• Conduct legal research and write with clarity and persuasion

• Represent clients in court, including custody disputes and restraining order hearings

• Create and present strategic legal plans to clients and the internal team

• Oversee discovery, legal analysis, and negotiations

• Collaborate closely with managing attorneys, associates, and support staff

• Contribute to the development of firm systems, templates, workflows, and efficiency tools

• Participate in ongoing process improvement and quality assurance initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law

• Demonstrated courtroom litigation experience

• Experience with California court procedures and family law rules

• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and efficiently

• Strong client-relations and communication skills

• Dedication to ethical practice and high standards of professionalism

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California (required)
