Duties

• Work closely with experienced litigators to develop cases from initial investigation through trial.
• Assist in crafting litigation strategies and advising clients on various matters, including insurance defense, transportation law, premises liability, and products liability.
• Conduct written and oral discovery.
• Draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
• Handle court appearances and work directly with clients to achieve meaningful results.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Missouri or Illinois (both preferred).
• Up to one year of litigation experience is required; additional experience is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in building a litigation career and taking on responsibility early.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri or Illinois.
