Duties

• Build and expand practice areas within the firm’s established expertise, including municipal law, water resources/drain law, business law, franchising, trademarks, and labor and employment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm’s culture of professional development and excellence.
• Lead and manage client matters with a focus on delivering exceptional service and results.

Requirements

• Established legal experience within the specified practice areas or related fields.
• Proven ability to contribute to the firm’s growth and success through expertise, client relationships, or innovative problem-solving.
• Strong commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and maintaining the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible for admission.

Skills

• Expertise in one or more of the firm’s areas of interest: municipal law, water resources/drain law, business law, franchising, trademarks, or labor and employment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to guide teams and mentor colleagues.
• Exceptional legal research, analysis, and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships effectively and maintain a high level of professionalism.
