Job Overview
A law firm seeks a counsel-level attorney to join its Real Estate practice group in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate various real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and development agreements.
• Represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and leasing matters.
• Advise on real estate issues in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.
• Conduct and manage due diligence, including title, survey, and environmental reviews.
• Support development projects across various asset classes.
• Negotiate construction and project-related agreements to manage real estate risk.
• Structure and document various real estate financing arrangements.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• At least eight years of relevant real estate legal experience.
• Active law license in Ohio.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and business judgment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active law license in Ohio.
