Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney for a full-time, on-site role in Atlanta, GA. The position involves providing legal advice and representation in immigration matters, with a focus on removal defense.

Duties

• Consult with clients and provide legal advice and representation.
• Represent clients in immigration court and other legal matters.
• Prepare and file legal documents, pleadings, and applications.
• Represent clients before EOIR, USCIS, DHS, ICE, CBP, DOS, and other agencies.
• Assist with Habeas petitions and petitions for review in federal courts.
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, and online.
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals.
• Review work of paralegals and attorneys.
• Prepare clients for government interviews and court hearings.

Requirements

• Must relocate to the Atlanta, GA area.
• Law license in a U.S. state.
• Minimum 5 years of in-depth immigration law experience.
• Spanish language skills highly preferred.

Education

• Doctor of Law

• Authorized to work in the United States
