Duties

• Design estate planning packages tailored to clients' needs using Westlaw and Wealth Counsel.
• Review and draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Advise clients on retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options.
• Conduct consultations for estate planning, probate, and Medicaid planning.
• Attend court hearings and oversee paralegal work on probate and trust matters.
• Communicate with clients both in-person and virtually.
• Proofread and draft legal correspondence.
• Systematize documentation processes for drafting wills and trusts.
• Develop strategic solutions to client problems and communicate them effectively.

Requirements

• Active license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Minimum five years of experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent presentation and client engagement skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
