The candidate will work under the direction of the attorneys to whom the Paralegal is assigned. This position requires researching law, investigating facts, and preparing documents to assist attorneys. Also be tasked with independently researching and analyzing legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings and appeals for review, approval, and use by the attorneys. Will be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodations: Research law, investigate facts, and independently prepare documents; Summarize complex legal documents; Organize and index complex case files; Determine and calendar deadlines; Perform wide variety of legal research and data compilation with little or no supervision; File pleadings with court clerk; Prepare reports and correspondence; Draft a wide variety of legal documents.
