Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented mid-level or senior associate to join its Real Estate practice in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated, high-impact work for premier clients, collaborating with partners and clients across the full real estate lifecycle.

Duties

• Represent lenders, investors, developers, and owners in real estate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate various real estate-related contracts.
• Coordinate and close real estate and financing transactions.
• Advise on construction, development, and joint venture arrangements.
• Mentor junior associates and oversee work streams.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of sophisticated real estate practice experience.
• Experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, tax credit transactions, leasing, and development.
• Prior law firm experience is required.
• NMTC and HTC experience is required.
• Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Illinois.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
