Duties

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
• Advise clients on coverage availability.
• Prepare discovery and take and defend depositions and examinations under oath.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Attend arbitrations and mediations.
• Appear in court proceedings.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Requirements

• Valid law license, preferably in NY and NJ.
• Previous experience in insurance law, general liability, SUM/SUIM, and no-fault is a plus.
• Familiarity with litigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdictions.
