A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in construction litigation and be eager to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Duties

• Manage a caseload from inception through trial or resolution.
• Conduct legal research and oversee research projects assigned to paralegals.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and reports.
• Attend court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Negotiate settlements effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of dedicated construction litigation experience.
• Proven ability to manage construction and complex litigation caseloads.
• Prior experience in insurance defense and/or personal/bodily injury litigation.
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Florida Bar License.

Skills

• Excellent and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in technology and automation resources, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
