Duties:

• Oversee national subrogation and/or insurance defense cases from start to finish

• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and local counsel

• Conduct legal research and provide insightful, detailed written work

• Prepare and argue motions, handle discovery, and attend hearings and depositions

• Maintain timekeeping and billing records, ensuring compliance with deadlines

• Contribute to business development, including authoring articles, speaking at conferences, and visiting clients

• Collaborate with team members, offering mentorship and support when necessary

Requirements:

• 5-10+ years of experience in litigation, specifically within subrogation or insurance defense

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage a caseload independently

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

• Attention to detail and strong legal research and writing abilities

• Proficient with case management software and Microsoft Office

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Active Wisconsin Bar membership

Certifications:

• Wisconsin State Bar license
