A law firm seeks a seasoned attorney with six or more years of labor and employment litigation experience to join its Fresno, CA, office.

Duties

• Provide proactive advice on workplace policies, employee relations, and compliance issues

• Defend employers in wage-and-hour actions, discrimination claims, and collective/class suits

• Manage all phases of litigation—from pleadings and discovery through mediation and trial

• Draft motions, briefs, internal policies, and settlement agreements

• Collaborate with HR and executive teams to craft risk-mitigation strategies

• Supervise associates and liaise with expert witnesses as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of hands-on labor and employment litigation experience

• Demonstrated track record defending wage-and-hour and class-action disputes

• Strong client-counseling skills and ability to distill complex regulations for business leaders

• Proven aptitude for orchestrating case strategy and controlling litigation budgets

• Excellent project management capabilities to juggle multiple matters concurrently

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active admission to the California State Bar
