Job Overview

A law firm seeks mid-level to senior-level finance associates with 4-7+ years of experience to join their Financial Practices Group in either San Francisco or Irvine, CA. The ideal candidates will have substantial experience in commercial finance and/or real estate finance transactions.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate loan and security documents.
• Manage transactions from inception to closing.
• Collaborate with a team of finance attorneys on debt financing transactions.

Requirements

• California-admitted attorney.
• Strong academic background from a top law school or equivalent experience.
• Experience representing both lenders and borrowers is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills

• Solid understanding of UCC Article 9 or real estate secured lending.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions independently.
