Senior Claims Analyst, Environmental Casualty
Duties: Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims asserted against the Company’s environmental policies. Engage in collaborative projects in support of other areas of the company, including underwriting, finance and accounting, actuarial, operations, and technology. Provide superior service to all customers, whether internal or external. Assist in verifying policy limits, deductibles, locations, exclusions, and endorsements. Obtain information regarding each claim and evaluate liability. Develop and manage litigation plan with outside contacts. Examine and monitor claim status for potential exposure opportunities. Review coverage matters, analysis, and determinations. Ensures claims are analyzed for coverage, proper documentation, adjusted, and paid properly within company guidelines. Evaluate coverage and liability. Analyze claim loss, expense exposure, and ensures that all assigned claims are properly and timely reserved. Identify claims for potential subrogation.
