Automation Engineer

The candidate will provide knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts. Identify manual processes in use and drive automation to improve. Provide systems engineering requirements to ensure that technical and operational requirements can be achieved or are being satisfied. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional team. Experience building On-Prem and Cloud virtualization is required. Experience with Azure Cloud management/services is required. Experience with using Infrastructure automation platform tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Chef is preferred. Should have knowledge of Azure Active Directory/OnPrem Active Directory, preferably 5+ years of experience. Scripting skills on Windows using MS Powershell, VMware PowerCLI is required. Scripting skills on Linux with Python or Bash is preferred. SQL language is preferred. Programming language C# or VB.NET is needed. Network, OS and Application monitoring tools such as Solarwinds Orion is a plus. Good understanding of Networking is required. Familiar with VMware Horizon and vCenter is required.
