Job Overview:
A well-established and dynamic law firm based in Okemos, MI, is currently looking for an experienced Of Counsel Attorney to provide expert legal counsel in Estate Planning, Business Law, and Probate matters. This role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office, allowing for a great work-life balance. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal expertise and the ability to manage a diverse caseload while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in Estate Planning, Business Law, and Probate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide insightful analysis to support client cases.
• Advise clients on their legal rights, obligations, and options.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.
• Ensure all legal processes and documents comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Michigan State Bar license.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in Estate Planning, Business Law, and Probate.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
