Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, and trials when necessary.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey state court required.
• 3-5 years of workers' compensation experience required.
• Experience with New Jersey State Rules of Court, Federal Rules of Court, and Rules of Evidence preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
