Job Overview:
A well-established and rapidly growing family law firm in Southern California is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its Murrieta office. This position is suited for a detail-oriented, experienced litigator who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex family law cases, drafting filings, advocating in court, and maintaining clear and compassionate communication with clients. This hybrid position combines in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.

Location:

• Murrieta, California

Duties:

• Draft family law pleadings, including:

  • Initial filings

  • Requests for orders

  • Ex parte motions

  • Discovery requests and responses

  • Client declarations

  • Stipulations and temporary restraining orders

• Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and relevant legal precedents

• Manage communication with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses

• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other court proceedings

• Develop and implement legal strategies tailored to client needs

• Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time equivalent experience in family law preferred

• Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience

• Ability to handle multiple complex cases simultaneously

• Proven track record of client advocacy and legal strategy implementation

• Highly organized and capable of managing detailed legal processes

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and drafting skills

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

• Effective oral advocacy and interpersonal communication

• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
