Duties:

• Defend complex medical malpractice claims on behalf of health care institutions and professionals

• Manage a caseload involving both traditional medical malpractice and catastrophic injury matters

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial materials

• Conduct depositions, fact investigations, and legal research

• Participate in settlement negotiations and trial preparation

• Collaborate with a team of experienced trial attorneys to develop case strategies

• Attend court appearances, mediations, and hearings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health care litigation or medical malpractice defense

• Strong litigation background, including case management from inception to resolution

• Demonstrated experience handling depositions and court appearances

• Proven ability to handle complex legal analysis and advocacy under tight deadlines

• Interest in long-term professional development within a litigation practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
