A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience in real estate finance, including loan origination for large structured commercial transactions and asset management. Duties

• Manage loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Handle mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions.
• Oversee asset management and workout processes.
• Run transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Engage in secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements

• Two to six years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience in a large law firm environment.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support a national practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
