Duties:

• Manage a comprehensive caseload independently from inception through resolution

• Draft a wide range of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda

• Attend and actively participate in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences

• Collaborate across offices and practice groups to develop litigation strategies and drive case outcomes

• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, offering updates and strategic advice

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in California

• 8+ years of defense litigation experience

• Demonstrated background in one or more of the following areas: catastrophic injury, product liability, premises liability, construction defect, habitability claims, transportation law, or general liability matters

• Strong experience drafting discovery, pretrial motions, and substantive legal analysis

• Prior experience with cross-examinations of plaintiffs and fact witnesses is preferred

• Deposition and courtroom experience required; trial or second-chair trial experience is highly desirable

• Ability to manage a heavy caseload while delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California Bar membership
