Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Managing Attorney specializing in Family Law. This position offers an opportunity for a highly skilled legal professional to lead the legal team, expand the firm's client base, and enhance revenue while focusing on the practice of law without the burden of managing the entire business. Duties:

• Manage and expand the client caseload, focusing on complex family law cases.

• Represent clients in child custody disputes and other family law matters in hearings and trials.

• Supervise and hold the legal team accountable for their performance and outcomes.

• Contribute to the firm’s strategic efforts to identify new office locations in counties such as DuPage, Northern Cook, and Lake County.

• Maintain a high standard of client service while upholding the firm’s core values: Teamwork, Results, Integrity, Balance, and Excellence.

• Support business development initiatives and bring in a portable book of business.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing Family Law.

• Expertise in handling complex family law matters, including child custody disputes.

• Proven track record in decision-making and effective public speaking.

• Strong leadership abilities with prior supervisory experience.

• Ability to bring in and manage a portable book of business.

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Illinois Bar.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
