Job Overview:
A leading international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Trademark & Copyright Practice Group. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for attorneys with 5 or more years of direct experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution, TTAB proceedings, global anti-counterfeiting enforcement, and strategic intellectual property planning. Location Options:
Duties:
Manage U.S. and international trademark prosecution and portfolio strategy
Handle opposition and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB
Advise clients on global anti-counterfeiting and enforcement strategies
Provide counsel on copyright protection, registration, and infringement matters
Draft and negotiate trademark and copyright-related agreements
Support due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and licensing transactions
Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, transactional, and regulatory teams
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of focused experience in trademark and copyright law
Significant experience with TTAB litigation and global brand enforcement
Ability to lead IP strategy for clients across diverse industries
High degree of independence in managing complex legal matters
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Strong academic credentials required
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Eligible for admission in the jurisdiction of the selected office
Skills:
Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
Strong research and analytical capabilities
Detail-oriented with excellent time management
Ability to work effectively with global clients and legal teams
Familiarity with IP docketing software and legal tech platforms preferred
