Duties

• Research and analyze legal sources, including statutes and judicial decisions.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including electronic document production.
• Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, and other necessary documentation.
• Formulate legal strategy and manage cases.
• Appear in court for hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members on legal matters.
• Conduct fieldwork as part of investigations.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• 7+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
• Experience with billing tracking and entry preferred.
• Experience in investigation and defense of tort claims preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
