A law firm seeks a junior or mid-level Construction Associate Attorney in St. Louis. Duties

• Engage in mediation, litigation, and arbitration processes.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate construction contracts.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
• Participate in motion practice and trial/arbitration preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding legal and strategic issues.

Requirements

• 1+ years of litigation experience; construction law experience preferred.
• Experience with construction contracts is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
