Duties

  • Advise legal teams and clients on all aspects of the discovery process, from data preservation to production.

  • Develop and implement case-specific discovery workflows and protocols.

  • Oversee document review projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

  • Support pre-litigation information governance and post-production litigation tasks, including depositions and trial preparation.

  • Guide eDiscovery laws, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance efficiency in data collection, processing, and review.

  • Ensure quality control in discovery-related deliverables.

Requirements

  • Active law license and good standing in Connecticut.

  • 5-7 years of experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, or related fields.

  • Strong knowledge of eDiscovery regulations, legal standards, and best practices.

  • Experience working with corporate messaging and collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

  • Proficiency with Relativity is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Must be licensed and in good standing CT

Skills

  • Expertise in legal research and analysis related to electronic discovery.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical and legal concepts.
