Arlington office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking agent to join our intellectual property Group. The candidate must have experience in preparing and prosecuting mechanical-related patent applications. Should have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline. Must have 5+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications. USPTO registration is also required. Experience drafting patent applications for filing in the U.S. and elsewhere is highly desirable. Prosecution or technical experience related to medical devices and/or textiles a plus. Must also be fluent in all manner of detailed mechanical and design speak, cross sections, elevation views, materials science, dynamic movement, manufacturing processes.
