Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, litigation experience, and a demonstrated ability to handle various legal tasks independently.

Duties:

• Attend depositions
• Assist senior attorneys with trial preparation
• Make court appearances
• Handle Law and Motion writing
• Participate in trial and arbitration proceedings
• Conduct legal writing and research
• Draft correspondence
• Summarize and/or propound discovery
• Draft notices and objections
• Interact with clients

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Employment Law experience
• Experience in Employment Litigation
• Trial and Arbitration experience
• Strong legal research and analysis skills
• General knowledge of California Civil Procedure
• Experience drafting and responding to discovery
• Proficiency in legal writing
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to commute daily to Downtown Los Angeles

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California Bar Association

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in legal software and research tools
