The candidate will assist in maintaining the Corporate Compliance Program. Maintain a current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and issues. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments for the bank and report important compliance developments. Escalate changes in industry practice and legal/regulatory requirements and ensure that timely appropriate action is taken. Aid in the development, implementing and conducting of compliance training programs. Reviews existing programs for improvements and updates needed due to revisions in laws and regulations. Serve as key resource for internal associates, management, the board of directors and regulators. Advising the lines of business and operational areas on Corporate Compliance Program matters including regulatory changes, business changes, impacts on new products and services, process and procedure changes, third-party oversight and mergers and acquisitions. Provide frequent reporting to the Corporate Compliance Director on the status of corporate projects. Assist as needed during Corporate Compliance related compliance regulatory exams including gathering of all pertinent information needed to accomplish the exam and work directly with the lead examiner to ensure the exam is completed.
