A law firm seeks an experienced Nursing Home Litigation Attorney to join its practice in Tampa, FL. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, focusing on nursing home and medical malpractice matters.

Duties

• Handle pre-litigation and litigation cases daily.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the legal process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited institution.
• Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
• Minimum 4+ years of personal injury experience, preferably in medical malpractice or nursing home matters.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
