Duties

• Independently manage a large caseload, primarily motor vehicle accident cases.
• Provide legal support and guidance to clients.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Handle PIP recorded statements and Examinations Under Oath.
• Manage cases from inception to completion.
• Stay informed about current legislation and case law.
• Build trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions.
• Argue motions and cover depositions.
• Market firm services in the community.

Requirements

• Florida licensed attorney in good standing with no disciplinary history.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury cases.
• Experience in evaluating personal injury claims in Florida.
• Knowledge of federal and state statutes, court rules, and procedures relevant to personal injury practice in Florida.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior oral and written advocacy skills.
• Team-oriented.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Florida Bar.
