Duties

• Draft, review, and finalize demand responses to insurance carriers.
• Analyze medical records, billing, and liability documentation to support settlement demands.
• Evaluate damages and assist in case valuation.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and case managers on pre-litigation strategy.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in the firm's case management system.
• Ensure deadlines are met and files are kept in compliance with firm procedures.
• Assist with additional pre-litigation or litigation tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in CA.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Personal injury experience is highly preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in CA.
