Duties

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze multifaceted factual and legal issues

• Craft and execute strategic defenses from case inception through resolution or trial

• Draft litigation documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs

• Provide actionable legal guidance to clients on employment-related matters

• Engage with courts, opposing parties, witnesses, and colleagues with professionalism

• Handle depositions, mediations, arbitration, and court appearances independently

• Participate in regular file reviews and contribute to case strategy sessions

• Stay current on developments in labor and employment law through continued education

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida

• 0-5 years of legal experience, including litigation in state and/or federal court

• Familiarity with labor and employment law or related litigation practices

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

• Capable of managing competing deadlines and case priorities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with legal management software is a plus

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar
