Duties:
Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings across multiple stages of litigation
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and provide written analyses on complex legal issues
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as required
Collaborate with partners and senior associates on strategic case planning
Engage with clients to provide updates and develop litigation strategies
Support case management responsibilities, including docket oversight and deadline tracking
Requirements:
Admission to practice law in the state of Indiana or eligibility for reciprocity
Demonstrated experience or interest in civil litigation or trial work
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proven research and analytical skills
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the Indiana State Bar (or pending admission)
Skills:
Familiarity with litigation software and legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment
Comfortable in high-pressure, deadline-driven legal settings
