Job Overview:

A dynamic law firm is seeking a lateral Corporate Attorney at the Shareholder/Partner level to expand its Business and Corporate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in business formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, and contracts. This opportunity is suited for an ambitious and entrepreneurial attorney looking to contribute to the firm's growth.

Location:

• Cherry Hill, NJ

Duties:

• Lead and manage business formation and succession planning for clients

• Advise on corporate governance matters and compliance

• Handle mergers and acquisitions transactions

• Provide counsel on securities and corporate finance issues

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and corporate agreements

• Build and maintain client relationships with a focus on business growth

• Contribute to the development and expansion of the firm's Corporate practice

Requirements:

• Significant experience in business and corporate law

• Strong background in business formation, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, corporate finance, and contracts

• A book of business is preferred, but not a requirement

• Barred in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey is ideal

• LLM in Taxation is a plus

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey (preferred)

• LLM in Taxation (preferred but not required)

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of business law, corporate governance, and mergers & acquisitions

• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills

• Ability to handle complex corporate transactions and provide practical business solutions

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
