Profile

A law firm in Charlotte is seeking a Structured Finance/Securitization Associate Attorney to join the Financial Services practice. The candidate will work on the Structured Finance and Securitization Team, handling transactions involving representation of issuers, underwriters, borrowers, and lenders in structured finance term and warehouse transactions. Excellent academic performance and strong interpersonal skills are required.

 

Duties:

  • Work on structured finance and securitization transactions within the Financial Services practice.
  • Represent issuers, underwriters, borrowers, and lenders in structured finance term and warehouse transactions.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including agreements, contracts, and disclosures.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to structured finance and securitization matters.
  • Assist with due diligence and transactional closings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of transactional experience, preferably with structured finance and/or securitization transactions.
  • Excellent academic performance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • Transactional experience, ideally with structured finance and/or securitization transactions.
  • Drafting and reviewing transactional documents.
  • Legal research and analysis skills.
  • Due diligence and transactional closing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
