A top-tier national law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney with experience in M&A, private equity, and/or joint ventures to join its Corporate & Securities practice group, specifically within its renowned Healthcare Industry Team. This position involves working with leading healthcare clients across all stages of their corporate lifecycle, including high-value transactions and innovative joint ventures.

Location

• Costa Mesa, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Advise healthcare clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and joint venture transactions

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents and commercial contracts

• Assist clients with corporate formation, governance, and operational strategy

• Collaborate with firm partners and associates on deal execution and client management

• Support business development through direct client interaction and relationship-building

• Participate in regular career development and training sessions

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of legal experience in M&A, private equity, and/or joint venture transactions

• Experience representing clients in the healthcare industry strongly preferred

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction where applying

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school

• Strong communication, research, and analytical skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in one of the office jurisdictions listed above
