Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to join its Litigation and Information Governance team. This non-partnership track role focuses on managing the full Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) for complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eDiscovery tools and protocols, excellent project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers a hybrid work environment and is open to candidates located in any city where the firm maintains an office.
Location:
Duties:
Manage eDiscovery matters in high-stakes litigation
Supervise project execution and maintain timelines, budgets, and compliance standards
Draft and negotiate discovery protocols, protective orders, and data production agreements
Act as primary liaison between case teams, clients, and external vendors
Coordinate collection and processing of client data
Develop review budgets and provide monthly forecasting and invoice review
Create and oversee document review workflows, including quality control procedures
Supervise and mentor review attorneys
Oversee document productions to ensure accuracy and defensibility
Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment
Requirements:
3–5 years of relevant experience in eDiscovery (law firm, in-house, or government)
Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced settings
Familiarity with all phases of the EDRM
Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate will practice
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active bar membership in relevant U.S. state (required)
Skills:
Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong interpersonal and team leadership capabilities
Ability to think critically and work independently or collaboratively
Proficiency with eDiscovery and litigation management tools
Adept in coordinating with internal legal teams, clients, and third-party vendors
