Location

Duties

• Handle a full caseload of insurance defense matters

• Conduct legal research and oversee paralegal research projects

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses

• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations

• Prepare case reports and documentation

• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel

• Communicate regularly with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of insurance defense or personal injury litigation experience

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in case strategy and motion practice

• Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume caseloads

• Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida Bar, in good standing

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Persuasive legal writing and courtroom advocacy

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
