Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dynamic Real Estate Associate to join their San Francisco office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial and residential matters alongside a collaborative, high-performing team.

Duties

• Handle key aspects of complex commercial and residential purchases and sales.
• Manage finance, commercial leasing, conveyancing, and construction contracts.
• Advise on real estate taxation issues and California real estate laws compliance.
• Track and advance transactions from start to finish, including managing checklists and assisting with closings.
• Contribute to business development activities and establish long-term relationships.

Requirements

• Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a law firm's Real Estate group.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Domestic experience required; international/cross-border experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive self-starter with strong project management skills.
• Attention to detail and a team player.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.
