Hastings & Ron have been serving clients in Stockton California since 1979. Hastings & Ron Attorneys specialize in business litigation, real property law, bankruptcy law, estate planning, and other specialized areas of law that serve our clients.

Seeking a full-time paralegal to assist with our daily caseload.

Applicants should expect to assist attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. Candidate will be responsible for scheduling appointments, preparing and organizing case files, answering multiple telephone lines, calendaring deadlines, processing and preparing correspondence, assisting attorneys with propounding and responding to discovery, and preparation of other legal pleadings and motions.

Job Requirements:

• Have at least 3+ years of legal experience in civil litigation;



• Have experience in assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents;



• Have experience in drafting, revising and proofreading legal documents;



• Must be able to maintain attorney(s) appointments/calendar;



• Must be able to calendar all court deadlines/due dates for several cases;



• Must be able to complete court filings and subpoena documents.



• Computer skills: Proficient in World Wide Web, Microsoft Word and Outlook, and Adobe.

Hours: Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday: 8:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.

Compensation: $32,000 to 40,000 per year (experience based)
