Location:

Duties:
Prepare and prosecute U.S. patent applications in software and computer-related technologies
Counsel clients on portfolio strategy and IP protection
Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals on patent prosecution matters
Conduct legal research related to patentability, freedom-to-operate, and invalidity
Review and revise patent documents, claims, and drawings
Support clients in USPTO proceedings as required
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution
Must be registered to practice before the USPTO
Experience with technologies including cloud computing, cybersecurity/encryption, AI, bioinformatics, mobile applications, databases, and networking preferred
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to be based in or relocate to a listed office location
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in one of the following fields:
Computer Science
Computer Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mathematics
Physics
Or a closely related technical field
Certifications:
USPTO Registration Number (mandatory)
Skills:
Technical proficiency in software-related disciplines
Legal writing and patent drafting expertise
Client-facing communication and counseling skills
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple patent portfolios effectively
