Associate Corporate Counsel, Commercial

The candidate will business-minded lawyer who is focused on execution, prepared to collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, and other teams within the company, and welcomes the dynamic environment that comes with a growing company. Supporting sales team throughout their deal cycles by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements to ensure adequate protection of the company’s interests. Assisting in developing and refining the company’s contract management policies and processes, and continually improving the company’s negotiation strategies. Providing legal support on an ad-hoc basis to a variety of teams both on the Go-to-Market, and Product end. Should have 2+ years of commercial legal experience an in-house legal department, and/or a law firm (in the latter case, preference to corporate, transactional, and/or intellectual property background); experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements and legal documents, including licensing agreements, master services agreements, NDAs, and product reseller/distribution agreements; service-oriented and responsive attitude, strong attention to detail, hard-working and committed to providing excellent work product; ability to work independently and own projects, but with full recognition of areas of limitation and need for support/guidance (honesty and humility required; ability to work in the US (visa sponsorship for this role is currently not available); JD (or equivalent legal) degree and current Bar admission; experience as an in-house attorney at a successful, high-growth tech/SaaS company or in the cybersecurity industry; experience with US governmental contracting.
