A law firm in Jefferson City is seeking a Government Contracts Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in federal government contract matters. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional research and writing skills, a demonstrated interest in litigation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. An active Bar license in the state is required. Preference is given to candidates currently practicing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and admitted to practice in Virginia or Maryland.

Job Duties:

• Manage federal government contract matters, including contract compliance counseling.
• Handle bid protests, claims litigation, and investigations involving the False Claims Act.
• Conduct comprehensive research and demonstrate excellent writing skills.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in federal government contract matters.
• Demonstrated interest in litigation with federal government contract matters.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active Bar license in the state.
