A law firm seeks a Project Finance Associate with 3-5 years of energy project finance experience to join its Finance Practice Group in Washington, DC. The role involves working on renewable energy and infrastructure matters, focusing on project finance and tax credit transactions.

Duties

• Represent developers, sponsors, lenders, and investors in renewable energy transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related financing documents.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage transaction workstreams.
• Drive matters toward closing in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Experience with tax credit transactions, including tax equity.
• Experience with conventional generation or infrastructure assets is welcomed.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar where admitted to practice.
• Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located.
