Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Omaha, NE, seeks a motivated attorney with 3-5 years of legal experience to join its Labor and Employment practice group. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational skills in legal research and writing, with a keen eye for detail and a disciplined approach to managing time-sensitive matters. Prior exposure to employment law matters is highly desirable.

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on labor and employment issues

• Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence

• Manage client communications with professionalism and discretion

• Support senior attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, and litigation

• Track developments in relevant federal and state employment regulations

• Contribute to strategic planning in employment-related matters

• Ensure compliance with deadlines and case requirements

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a legal practice, with preference for employment law exposure

• Proven ability to draft persuasive, well-organized legal documents

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational habits

• Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities independently

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Nebraska, or eligibility for admission
