Duties

• Counsel employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and procedures.
• Represent employers in administrative proceedings.
• Handle employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims.
• Provide advice on labor relations, workplace investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Stay updated on employment law developments and provide proactive advice to clients.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law topics, such as harassment prevention and compliance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in employment law, including litigation and counseling.
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Interest in building a book of business.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Nebraska.
