Duties:
Prepare and file legal documents such as objections, pleadings, and administrative motions
Conduct and attend depositions, especially of expert witnesses
Represent clients at workers’ compensation hearings and administrative proceedings
Perform written discovery and related pre-trial activities
Communicate effectively with clients throughout the case progression
Apply working knowledge of relevant statutes, including the Workers’ Compensation Act and procedural rules
Maintain detailed records and utilize case-management software efficiently
Handle case-related administrative functions as required
Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Colorado
Demonstrated experience in litigation, particularly workers’ compensation
Comfortable managing a significant caseload in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in legal drafting and oral advocacy
Familiarity with administrative court procedures and legal standards
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the Colorado State Bar is required
