Duties

• Assist in negotiating, documenting, and closing loan transactions, including asset-based lending and commercial real estate financing.
• Support clients in restructuring, workouts, and bankruptcy matters.
• Conduct due diligence, loan review, and prepare transactional documents and bankruptcy filings.
• Perform legal research and draft memoranda, contracts, and motions.
• Assist in corporate mergers, acquisitions, and commercial property transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth transaction execution and client support.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in NJ, with multi-state licensing a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in relevant legal fields.
• Experience with loan documentation, workouts, and commercial real estate transactions preferred.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
