Associate Attorney - Real Estate

A law firm based in Roseville, CA, is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join their growing team. Duties:

• Manage and represent clients in civil litigation cases, with a focus on real estate matters.
• Draft and respond to complaints, answers, and demurrers.
• Handle depositions, discovery, and motions.
• Prepare and argue motions in court and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
• Attend hearings and handle appeals.
• Represent clients in various real estate matters including partition actions, unlawful detainer actions, and landlord/tenant disputes.
• Advise on cases related to construction defects, failure to disclose, and estate planning/probate issues.
• Manage liens, judgments, For Sale by Owner transactions, and seller financing matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in real estate law.
• Strong understanding of real estate litigation processes, including motions, depositions, and hearings.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desire to grow professionally in the legal field and take on increasing responsibilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills, including drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.
• Knowledge of real estate law, including landlord/tenant issues, property disputes, and construction matters.
• Experience with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods is a plus.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
